How to book in for a tattoo
01 Books open
Books opening will be announced via email newsletter (sign up here) and Instagram so sign up and follow if you want to catch the next opportunity to book
Once books are open the booking form will be available here
The form gathers all the details I need about your tattoo
I often receive more forms than I am able to book in, so I will reply to tattoo projects which I feel work best with my style
If I can do your tattoo then I will email you with an estimated price and details for your deposit. Once deposit is paid I share a virtual calendar so you can choose a slot and book yourself in. My working days are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - I don’t work weekends
I have beautiful guest accommodation, a custom made Shepherds Hut, available for rent at my home in Mid-Wales to make your visit as easy as possible. You can see the details and book this here
02 Creating
Because I’m working on so many custom designs all year round, I only work on bespoke designs one week ahead of appointments. If you are booked in with me then I will contact you via email with a design creation form, to gather and organise all your detailed design ideas and inspiration so I can create something unique for you
I also ask for a few examples of my previous designs which you like the look of so I can get an idea of the aesthetic you like. Please don’t send other tattooists’ work as I try very hard to create unique tattoos and not copy other people’s artwork. Photos and your own doodles are very welcome though
There is no need to email this to me, I will contact you when the time is right to tell you how to submit all of this info.
03 Your appointment
Around 2 days before your tattoo I will reply with your design drawing and lots of info for your visit
I am usually working on many tattoos at one time so I really appreciate you being patient and trusting that the perfect tattoo will come through. You can make small changes over email if needed, but I also keep at least 30 minutes spare during your appointment to make design tweaks and make final size and placement decisions
It is so important to me to ensure my clients are always completely happy with their designs and I’ll never pressurise anyone into having something they aren’t completely in love with
