Before beginning my career as a tattooist I was a yoga teacher for many years and taught yoga retreats all over the world

I loved the joy of bringing like minded women together to give our souls some space and free our creative spirits

In August 2024 I finally shared my first Tattoo & Yoga Retreat at my home in mid-Wales with an incredible group of women

It was so magical that I’m offering another gathering in 2025…

What’s Included

• Small & intimate group of maximum 8 women

• 3 Nights accommodation from Friday to Monday morning - including all linens and towels (see accommodation options below)

• Nourishing plant based meals all weekend

• Mindful Vinyasa Yoga taught by Suzie on Saturday & Sunday morning (will be outdoors on the deck weather permitting)

• Meditation, Ceremonial Cacao and Women’s Circle

• Shamanic Energy Healing Sound Bath on the Saturday night by Kerry

• Handpoke & Self Tattoo Workshop on the Saturday held by Suzie

• A small (up to 5cm) crystal infused tattoo made for you in mini ceremony by Suzie, to be chosen from a pre-drawn flash sheet (or can be your own design from our workshop, if suitable)

• Crystal from your tattoo ceremony to keep

• Guest Shamanic Healer Kerry available for 45 minute energy healing sessions (at additional cost of £45 paid directly to her)

• Use of hot tub

• Group walk in our woodland

Handpoke & Self Tattoo Workshop

As part of the retreat I will share with you the history, magic and art of handpoke tattoo

It is a fascinating journey if you’ve ever been interested in knowing more about the beauty of this ancient craft and potentially explore it as a self-care practice

WE WILL EXPLORE:

• The history of handpoke

• My own personal journey with self-tattoo

• Creating symbolic & meaningful intentional tattoo designs

• Unlocking creative thinking

• How I create ceremony around tattoo using tarot, crystals and cacao

• The tools, technical guidance and hygiene awareness for creating a tiny tattoo for yourself if you wish

• I will give you a small basic tattoo kit to take home with you and talk you through the contents

• The following day there will be space for creating your own self tattoo if you wish, with my guidance

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE OR EXPECTATION FOR YOU TO TATTOO YOURSELF & GUESTS TATTOOING EACH OTHER ON THE RETREAT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED

What this IS:

An inspiring exploration into what might be a brand new craft for you, discovered in circle with amazing women, with reverence and honouring of it’s origins and magic

What this is NOT:

A professional training for becoming a handpoke tattooist. I will not be providing any formal guidance or support for starting tattooing as a career

Accommodation Options

For 2 friends sharing

We have two 5 metre Bell Tents with two single beds each

You will be paired with another retreat guest which is an amazing way to connect with new friends, unless you request to be paired with someone you’re coming with

Full use of two shower bathrooms in the house a few metres away

PLUS everything else included in the retreat yoga, food, workshop, your tattoo etc…

    FRIDAY

    5pm: Opening circle

    6.30pm: Dinner

    8pm: Hot Tub and Star Gazing

    SATURDAY

    8am: Yoga

    9am: Breakfast

    10.30am: Handpoke & Creativity Workshop

    1pm: Lunch

    2.30pm: Woodland Walk

    4pm: Self Tattoo Workshop

    7pm: Dinner

    9pm: Shamanic Sound & Energy Healing with Kerry

    SUNDAY

    8am: Yoga

    9am: Breakfast

    11am: Self tattooing supported by Suzie (OPTIONAL)

    and / or

    Energy Healing Sessions with Kerry

    1pm: Lunch

    2.30pm: Tattoo Sessions for those receiving tattoos from Suzie

    6.30pm: Dinner

    8pm: Closing Circle followed by fire pit (weather depending) and hot tub

    MONDAY

    9am: Breakfast

    10am: Departures / more tattoo sessions by Suzie for those who don’t need to rush away

  • We are based 15 minutes from Builth Wells in Powys, mid-Wales

    You can not reach us by public transport, there are no large train stations nearby. Please do not attempt to get the train as there is a chance of you being stranded if you miss a connection and we wont be available to pick anyone up from a train station

    The only reliable way to get to us is by car and I will share a map link with you prior to the retreat which will bring you to our door

  • I can make arrangements for a taxi from Hereford Station (1hr 15mins away) however the most recent cost for this was £140 each way. We won’t be able to provide lifts to or from the station because we will be busy with the retreat so I do not really recommend this option

    I will try to help arrange lift shares between guests if possible.

  • If something unexpected arises up until 2 weeks before the retreat then I will do my absolute best to find someone else to fill your space. Only if someone takes your space will your deposit be refunded, minus a £50 fee. If I can not find anyone to fill your space, or you cancel within 2 weeks of the start date, then you will loose your whole deposit.

    If for some reason I have to cancel from my side then all deposits will be returned but I wont be able to compensate any other personal expenses

  • No, my yoga classes will be open and accessible to all levels. I will ask for some basic recent medical history however, in case there is anything I need to be aware of.

  • We have indoor spaces just in case it rains, but I do hope for sunshine so that we will be able to hold all of our yoga sessions and circles outside
