Tattooed Intentions ✺ Cacao, Cards & Crystals
You can choose to add a tattoo ritual to your appointment to infuse your tattoo with deeper intention and meaning. It is also such a beautiful way of settling your energy before beginning your tattoo and making sure you that your skin, heart and soul feel aligned and ready for this transformative marking
The words ‘ceremony’ or ‘ritual’ can feel a bit intimidating but really it’s all just about slowing down and giving the art that you’re choosing for your body and the lasting change it’s creating on your skin the nurturing time and grounding that it truly deserves
Heart Centred Cacao
After chatting over the final technical elements of your tattoo, we start your tattoo ritual with a warm cacao welcome drink, made from very potent ceremonial grade raw cacao, a little cinnamon and water. Cacao is a powerful feminine plant which directly nurtures and heals the heart, helping to awaken inspiration and divine connection, especially for women. I guide you through a short grounding meditation to honour and integrate this medicine fully.
Tarot Card Reading
I will then offer a short three card Tarot reading. It is most effective to have an intention for the reading, an area of your life perhaps or a question that you would like the cards to speak to. The cards are not predictive and don’t tell your future, but they do hold up a beautiful mirror to your life and can perhaps prompt thoughts or reminders of things which your soul is already calling for or questioning. I will give suggestions of what the cards could hold based on my own intuition and years of experience communicating with the cards, but often the true magic of the card unfold in the weeks and even months following your reading.
Crystal Infused Handpoke
I will then offer you a selection of consciously sourced ethical crystals to choose from, explaining the qualities of each and how they can offer healing or magnetism into your life. Then, when your tattoo stencil has been placed and you’re lying on the bed ready to begin, I will guide you through a short intention setting with your crystal, so you can silently weave in your own personal intention into the crystal’s frequency. It’s a lovely moment to connect with your tattoo, and begin to accept it into your skin. Your crystal is then bound safely and hygienically to the end of you tattoo needle (the end which doesn’t touch your skin), in contact with the metal so that the healing frequency is delivered into the skin as the tattoo is gently handpoked.
